Development of IT Services between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Uzbekistan

The article analyzes the current trends in trade and economic cooperation between Russia and Uzbekistan in the field of information technology (IT-technology), which is becoming increasingly important in the context of global digital transformation. With the growth of the digital economy and increased demand for information services, there are ample opportunities for expanding trade relations in the field of IT technology services. The article focuses on comprehensively examining the key barriers to trade in IT services between Russia and Uzbekistan and revealing their essence. It demonstrates that existing challenges and obstacles signifi cantly limit the potential for digital cooperation between the two countries. Overcoming these challenges requires strategic coordination and sustainable institutional cooperation at the bilateral level. The article proposes key areas for expanding Russia-Uzbekistan partnership in the IT sector, which create a solid foundation for active development of mutual cooperation.
