Development of language competence at studying of the English language by the students of medical university

The article reviews the problem of the language competence development of the students in the context of the formation of professional language competence at teaching of a foreign language. The means of the formation of professional language competence are: the method of verbally-dialectic teaching, a set of professional texts and case-studies.
