Today, the industrial model of the development of the world has led to the degradation of the natural environment. At the same time, European countries were among the first to recognize the dependence of quality of life on a favorable human environment. In this regard, it seems particularly relevant to study the experience of the French Republic, which has been pursuing a focused environmental policy over the past 50 years. The state environmental policy of France at the present stage provides for reforming and upgrading environmental law in order to ensure the effectiveness of sustainable development in the context of achieving a high level of environmental protection, searching for alternative innovative approaches in environmental policy through the implementation of government decisions.
