Power engineering development as factor of economic security in the Republic of Belarus

The article shows the tendencies of development of Belarusian fuel and power complex, priority directions of energy-saving activities which include technical and technological as well as organizing and economical measures. Special attention is given to the drawing in of local raw materials, non-traditional and renewable energy resources into fuel and power balance of the country. Belarusian long-term energy-effective invest projects, including projects in the sphere of cooperation with foreign countries are spoken about.
