The article discusses the current issues of the cryptocurrency market, its global impact and the reasons for success, as well as the history of development. Particular attention is paid to the development of bitcoin. The issues of regulation and taxation of cryptocurrencies in various countries are being studied. The experience of investing Russian companies in cryptocurrencies is analyzed. According to the results of the study, possible prospects for the development of the cryptoindustry are highlighted.
