Development of pre-investment research methods for green modernization of industrial enterprises

The topic of this study is highly relevant due to the importance of conducting pre-investment research for projects aimed at incorporating the best available techniques (BAT). Special attention is paid to the process of financing green modernisation of production. The development of methods of pre-investment assessment is conditioned by the need to modernise Russian production facilities considering the implementation of BAT projects. This article delves into the indicators used to assess the economic efficiency of BAT, specifically for pre-investment analysis of green modernisation projects. This study analyses the indicators of preliminary assessment, which confirm the achievement of environmental, economic, and social effects due to the implementation of BAT. The author concluded that the formation of a financing system for the BAT implementation is the basis for achieving technological sovereignty, production facilities modernisation, achieving resource and environmental efficiency of production facilities, as well as the transition to a closed-cycle economy.
