Raising cooperation among farm holdings and agroindustrial integration in farm production of the Kuban region in the 1970-ies

The paper stated that in Russia nowadays high priority is attached to farming’ advancement, due to the necessity to ensure food security nationwide. The country accumulated an extensive experience in the sector of industrial farming; that experience may be qualified as both positive and negative, being instructive in many respects. On the one part, this experience evidently demonstrated that the total control being highly destructive, as well as petty regulation, and practicing transfer of private farm holdings into State ownership. On the other part, using the State regulation machinery in the farming sector reflected one of the leading trends in the farming sector advancement round the world nowadays, namely: strengthening the part taken by the State in advancement of the industrial farming sector. In this regard, experience accumulated in the policy of farming sector over the period of Soviet State being both conceptually and pragmatically significant for determining the most efficient ways of industrial farming sector’ advancement. The paper reviewed raising cooperation among the farm holdings and agro-industrial integration in farm production of the Kuban Region in the 1970-ies with the purpose of increasing production and processing of farm products.
