Development of maritime transport in Russia and in the Russian Far East in the context of globaltrends in 2015

This article covers the issues of the Russian Navy development, as compared to global trends; the Russian and Far Eastern sea ports activities for the period of 2000-2015. The problems in maritime transport operation, as well as further prospects of its development in Russia are considered by the author.
