Development of the oil and gas sector in the context of sanctions

The article characterizes the state and work of the oil and gas sector under the impact of sanctions measures. The sector faces serious challenges, including dependence on imported equipment and a shortage of key components, a backlog in research and development, as well as an insufficient degree of digitalization of production processes. In order to overcome these difficulties, Russian enterprises are stepping up domestic production of equipment, increasing investments in R&D and personnel training. Achieving technological sovereignty requires further efforts in developing innovative solutions, training qualified specialists, and strengthening the fuel and energy complex. The importance of technological partnership as a form of cooperation, which includes technology transfer, exchange of knowledge, risks and resources to solve technological problems, was emphasized.
