Developing Relations with Latin American Countries Is Our Most Important Priority

Russia is interested in increasing cooperation with Latin American countries in the context of the transition to multipolarity, despite attempts of sanctions pressure. This topic was the subject of the international conference «Cooperation between Russia and Latin American Countries in the Context of the Building of a Multipolar World», held at the State Duma on May 29, 2025, organized by the Just World Institute, whose president is Sergey Mironov, Head of the Faction of the Socialist Political Party «A Just Russia – Patriots – For the Truth» at the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, and the Institute of Latin America of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The «Vlast» («Power») magazine was the information partner of the event.
