Development of concept «sense» in humanities (from the end of XIXth to the beginning of XXIth centuries)

The article shows the development of the concept «sense» from the end of the XIXth century to the beginning of the XXIth century in humanities, namely in philosophy, culturology, linguistics and psychology. The article highlights the most debatable questions which appeared during the discussion of the concept «sense» in different areas of humanities and considers the field of modern researches of the «sense» phenomenon to be a psychological concept.
