Development of additional education programs in the context of functional separation of pedagogical work

This article describes the intermediate results of the project team working on the implementation of strategic initiative “Teacher of the Future” as a part of Strategy for the Development of the Nizhny Novgorod State Pedagogical University named Kozma Minin for 2014-2023 years. The article explains the rationale of the developing the concept of pedagogical work separation and of the corresponding system of additional teacher education in pedagogical university. Substantial and technological bases of qualification programs are presented in accordance with the emergence of new pedagogical professions such as subject teacher, assistant, moderator, tutor, teacher-corrector. The basic elements of training programs for teachers and innovative bases for their implementation are shown. The article highlights the issue of effectiveness of the approach to the design of teacher professional development programs from the standpoint of the functional separation of pedagogical work at school.
