Development of the real economy sector of Nizhnevartovsk in the framework of the economic diversification strategy of Khanty-Mansi autonomous area - Yugra

The article presents general description of the real economy sector of Nizhnevartovsk, focuses on the problem of reducing of oil production volume, and emphasizes the need for economic diversification as a priority task. The author presents the actual and forecasted volume of industrial production of the main commodity items. The undertaken study suggests that in the event of implementation of the priority investment projects, Nizhnevartovsk has a significant potential of the real economy development.
