Sambo development at the Russian state hydrometeorological university

The article considers the development and formation of sambo wrestling at the Russian State Hydrometeorological University (WGGMU). The role of the personality of the trainer - the teacher in preparation of students - athletes is noted. On the example of associate professor of the department of physical culture and BZhD RGGMU, the sambo trainer show achievements and ways to success, which leads to popularization of sambo wrestling in higher education institutions and increase of number of engaged.
