Development of a small business support system at the regional level

Small business in a transitional economy is the most important strategic resource that can ensure economic growth. Small business issues are considered in theoretical and practical aspects, however, each region solves these issues taking into account its own specifics. The development of small business also depends on the external environment, which changes over time. It is important to constantly observe the established patterns in development. Small business is rapidly developing in all countries of the world, and the pace of its development is largely dependent on the effectiveness of government support. The study of all aspects of the influence of the state on small and medium-sized enterprises, and, in particular, the coordination of measures to stimulate and support the development of entrepreneurship at the regional level is relevant. The paper proposes measures to improve the efficiency of state support for small businesses in order to take a more careful approach of the state to this support. And also considered the expected result from the proposed activities. It is important to competently and rationally organize measures of state support for small and medium-sized businesses at all levels.
