Development of cooperation with the countries of the Asian-Pacific region in the export of Russian gas

This article discusses the cooperation between Russia and the largest importers of gas in the Pacific. The main projects promoting the development of cooperation between countries are described. Statistical analysis methods act as the methodological base of the study. In modern conditions, in relation to the energy sector of Russia (the imposition of sanctions by Western countries), there is a reorientation of export supplies to the Asia-Pacific countries in the EU. Under these conditions, the Far East acts as a major oil and gas source, which has advantages and opportunities to compete in the Asian market, using not only a favorable investment climate, but also developed infrastructure today.
