Development of the free press in the United Arab Emirates

The article describes the process of cooperation of mass media with local political regime and the degree of government's influence on the formation of information politics in UAE region. The author underlines the necessity to modify the current system of mass media in order to provide journalists with better and safe conditions to perform their professional duties.
