Development of the theory of modeling of national economy

Currently, economic science needs new models of functioning and development of the national economy, taking into account the destructive trends in the development of modern society. The most fruitful method of studying the processes of functioning and development of the national economy is the modeling method. Based on the analysis of macroeconomic models, the article proposes a model of a humanistic economy based on the national idea of modern society and at the same time a global criterion for the functioning of the national economy. The model of the humanistic economy assumes the implementation of two functions: diagnostic, which includes an assessment of the state and trends in the development of the human resource, and managerial, which includes impacts to change the state and trends in the development of the human resource from the standpoint of satisfying both material and spiritual needs. Based on this, the principles of humanistic economics are formulated, which should be the basis for the formation and implementation of the state socio-economic policy. The scientific novelty of the provisions put forward in the article is the substantiation of a new model of functioning and development of the national economy, which most effectively uses its human potential while observing the ethical norms of economic behavior. The practical significance of the article is to define new directions for the formation and implementation of the socio-economic policy of the state, leveling the destructive trends in the development of modern society.
