Development of risk-management terminology applicable to organization quality management system

In the article some conceptual bases of risk management in quality management systems of the organizations are defined and specified, namely the review and various approaches to understanding of the term «risk» are carried out and it is defined that now there is no accurate classification of risks and mention of differentiation of risks on their application in quality management systems of the organization; it is offered to enter into scientific circulation the term « risk in the field of quality»; with the development of international standardization, it is proposed to use another basis of classification of risks according to their use in the management of various aspects of activities (e.g., risk in quality management systems, risk in the system of health protection and labor safety, etc.); and based on the characteristic and terms revised definition of the term «risk-based thinking in quality management systems». The novelty of the proposed refined conceptual framework will consist in the specification of terminology in the field of risk management in relation to the characteristics of the quality management systems of the organization, its quality objectives and the main task of ensuring the sustainable development of the organization and orientation to stakeholders.
