Development of transnational insolvency in the context of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU)

The prospects for the development of cross-border bankruptcy in the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union (EUEU) are considered. The interpretations of the concept of «cross-border bankruptcy» are summarized by domestic and foreign authors. A comparative description of the bankruptcy legislation of the EUEU member states is given. The indicators characterizing the efficiency of bankruptcy procedures in these countries are presented. The possibility of developing cross-border bankruptcy through improving the mechanism for bringing controlling persons to subsidiary liability and initiating bankruptcy cases at the location of assets was considered.
