The development of touristic attractiveness of the regions of Russia federation: the current state and prospects

In this article, using the methods of analogy, content analysis and theoretical analysis, explores the current state oftouristic potential of the regions of Russia Federation; factors that have impact on the touristic attractiveness of the regions have been revealed; a comparative analysis of the current level of and countries, including Russia, ranking in this area; presented the author’s conclusions about the reasons of the underdevelopment of the touristic section in Russia today, as well as ways to overcome these problems.
