The article deals with tourism development in the country, defines particular fea tures and value of the tourist activity, presents some statistical data on internation al arrivals and economic characteristics of tourism development. Serious attention has been paid to the tourist industry financing and determining the proportion of tourist services in the total volume of paid services provided for the public.
