The development of penitentiary system as factor will national security strength

Some grave internal threats to national security of Russia are caused by lack of effective penitentiary system. Solving that problem becomes one of the priority directions of national security politics in our country. This article is devoted to the analysis of a state of affairs in this important sphere of social life. It is an attempt of theoretical judgment and development of practical recommendations for making the penitentiary system more perfect, which in its turn will strengthen security of person, society, and the state.
