Legal nihilism is an actual problem of modern Russian society and state. Many legal theorists point out legal nihilism as one of the reasons for committing crimes, since it characterizes, by means of a low sense of justice, a lack of respect for the law, and preferential non-use of it in everyday life, when a person or group is primarily guided in their actions by traditions, political, economic or other interests, but not by law. In view of a great influence of legal nihilism on society and the state, the issues of studying and forming scientific ideas on legal nihilism are very relevant today.
