The reaction of the human respiratory system to hypoxic hypoxia

Бесплатный доступ

Minute ventilation increased mainly due to increase in tidal volume during breathing a hypoxic gas mixture of 10% O2. However, the formation of oxyhemoglobin blood flowing from the lungs is different in different subjects, indicating that individual strategies of adaptation to hypoxia at about equal conditions of gas exchange in the lungs. The obtained data of two main groups of people to change S%O2 in response to hypoxia: "stable" and «unstable» groups. Maximal work performance was significantly increased in the «stable» than that of all the groups and «unstable» because of the more effective mobilization of functional reserves.
