Response of maize plants to chilling temperatures in natural conditions and experiment

The article deals with the problem of the negative effect of chilling on maize plants. The consequences of stress temperatures on the state of maize plants and their yield have been determined. Changes in physiological and biochemical parameters of plant functioning at unfavorable temperatures are shown. The responses of maize plants to chilling are considered. Studies have shown the need for a targeted increase in the cold resistance of maize breeding material.
