The paper compared the reactivity and effectivity of cardiorespiratory responses to prolonged increasing in power hypoxia and physical exercise at the anaerobic threshold of swimmers, skiers and physically untrained individuals. The features of the structure of cardiorespiratory responses to exercise and hypoxia were established. Found differences in the function state of the autonomic nervous system of swimmers and skiers, which influence to mechanisms of formation of cardiorespiratory responses to hypoxiaand physical exercises. Found that result of adaptive changes of the cardio-respiratory system in skiers is economy the functioning of oxygen supply, but swimmers – to increasing the reactivity of responses. These differences are manifested during exercise and during hypoxia.
