Realization of the monetary reform of 1947 and reaction of the population (on the materials of Kuibyshev (Samara) region)

The article covers the realization of the monetary reform of 1947 in Kuibyshev (now Samara) region. The author analyzes government actions which led to the liquidation of the rationing system and organization of free trade, the level of customer demand for food and manufactured goods, the attitudes of the population towards the reform.
