The implementation of pensioner social protection policy on the example of Krasnoyarsk Territory during 2000-2008 is analyzed in the article. Investigating the regional social legislation and statistical data, the author reveals the issues of this system legal regulation concerning senior citizens, analyzes the regional elderly population social problems and their reflection in the state social activity.
