Principle of federalism application at the transition of Russia to informational society

Interconnection between an evolution of federative relations and informatisation in modern Russia is represented in the article. The essence of the principle of federalism is brought to light; difficulties in its application in the current situation are shown. Estimation of the perspectives for the system reconstruction of Russian federalism in the conditions of the transition to informational society is presented.
