Implementation of sustainable growth strategy for dairy production in the Chuvash Republic

This article reviews the problem of producing the high-quality and competitive milk (dairy products) and the possible actions for the development of the product viability. The study analyzes the competitive advantages of the region along with the leading constituent entities of the Volga Federal District within this issue. The authors reveal and justify factors leading to a decrease in profitability, purchasing power and sales. The SWOT analysis makes it possible to quash the issues of restructuring and reforming the aggregate of categories of farms and in the short period to concentrate on qualitatively rapid improvement in agriculture. It emphasizes the fundamental role of the state in the aspect of increasing the budget capacity of the Chuvash Republic. Based on the above study, the authors proposed a strategy for development and sustained progress in this sector, taking its weaknesses and threats into account.
