A child in the information society: policy formulation in the field of information security of children and young people

The authors analyze the problem of socialization of children and adolescents in the modern information society, on the base of legislation and data of empirical studies. The paper focuses attention on positive and negative aspects of free access to information, due to the specifics of organization of modern media project. The problem of accessibility of information is considered in the frames of legislative regulation of the media, the practical implementation of the legislation in the sphere of access to information, as well as data of sociological research on the regulation of children’s access to information by their parents.
