The collective monograph “Multiaspectivenes of Language and Speech Units” is dedicated to the centenary of the birth of the outstanding Russian linguist Professor V. V. Babaytseva. The author’s team of the monograph consists of Vera Vasilyevna’s students. In their articles, they develop various aspects of their teacher's multifaceted legacy. The publication contains the first published article by V. V. Babaytseva on the syntactic functions of pronouns and the autobiography of the scientist. The theoretical articles of the monograph show the connection between the views of V. V. Babaytseva and the ideas of Yu. S. Stepanov. The effectiveness of the scale of transitivity in the Russian language created by the scientist has been demonstrated. The main part of the monograph develops linguistic issues related to the topic of multidimensional morphological and especially syntactic units of language and speech. This publication explores professor Babaytseva’s contribution to the development of Russian grammar and linguistic poetics. Drawing on her views, this volume analyzes new aspects of the epithet’s function in poetry and summarizes Babaytseva’s contribution to the development of syntactic concepts in the 21st century. The last section of the monograph has a memorial character and is composed of memoirs about V. V. Babaytseva.
