In the present monograph on the review carried out a detailed analysis of the various areas of life of the Russian Cossacks as an integral organic part of Russian population. Cossacks in the years of its existence has accumulated extensive experience in the past, and in the conditions of the present and especially in providing primary objective - the protection of the Russian state, to overcome the threats that arise in different periods of Russian history. The authors presented a broad panorama of everyday life events Cossacks and in different regions of the country. Draws Cossack map of reality in modern conditions - the 1990-2015, when the Cossacks gone through a difficult process of revival after years of neglect and rejection. Russian Cossacks in the new environment has taken a worthy place in the revival of Russia itself, its economic and spiritual potential of the army. At the same time, the Cossacks remained consistent supporter of orthodoxy and service to the Fatherland. The book under review is based on the authors' rich source base, materials and documents identified in the state archives and current archives departments in charge of the revival of the Cossacks tasks and organization of its life arrangement on the territory of modern Russia. The paper put many questions of everyday life of the Cossacks and they settled on a purely scientific basis. Showing difficulties and mechanisms to overcome them. Despite their individual shortcomings, omissions in the presentation of the material in the new monograph, many questions raised by the authors for the first time, received answers and cause genuine interest.
