A review of the manuscript of the monograph by B. D. Shmyrov "Labor-mobilized Central Asian military district in the Southern Urals in 1942-1945"

The review gives a description of the monograph, which for the first time comprehensively considers the stay of the hard-armed Sredi-Asiatic military district in the Chelyabinsk and Chkalovsky (now Orenburg) regions during the Great Patriotic War. The author covered the issues of dislocation, numbers, working and living conditions, clothing and food supplies of the contingent, ideological work with him. A number of documents on this issue were introduced into scientific circulation for the first time.
