The review examines the series «Digital Civilization. Media Communications. Internet Marketing», made within the framework of the international interdisciplinary research project under the same name, and comprised of the three monographs: «Philosophy of Digital Civilization and Transformation of Media Communications», «Media Communications and Internet Marketing in Digital Civilization» and «Network Structures and Communication Services in the Age of Digital Civilization». This series of monographs focuses on interrelationship of the general civilizational processes of globalization, informatization, and digitalization and transformation that occurs in mass media communication systems. The collective work has brought together the research of more than 30 leading scholars in the field of strategic marketing communications from Russian, Belgian, and US universities. Among them there are Lomonosov Moscow State University, University of Illinois, University of Antwerp, Higher School of Economics, Saint-Petersburg State University, Russian Peoples’ Friendship University, Institute of Linguistics of Russian Academy of Sciences, Russian State University of Cinematography, Moscow Polytechnic, Urals Federal University, South Ural State University; the scope of research reflects the in-depth insight in the subject matter.
