The paper provides a brief subjective assessment of the reviewer of the book Boskholov S. S., Kachurova Ye. S. Bases of criminological victimology. Its main advantages over similar educational works are revealed. Some inaccuracies in the content are noted and the main directions for improving the work and using it in the educational process are suggested, not only in the field of Jurisprudence, but also in other educational specialties of both the legal profile and other specialties and areas of training, the educational standard of which provides for the study of anti-crime issues.
