Reception and interpretation of romanic creativity of L.N. Tolstoy in the journal “delo”

The article analyzes the evaluation of novelistic creativity of L.N. Tolstoy by the journal “Delo”. The literary and aesthetic position of the publication was determined, on the one hand, by editorial views on the aims and tasks of literature in the contemporary cultural context, on the other, a concrete, highly dynamic, socio-political situation in Russia that corrects the writer’s works. The focus of attention of critics and journalists of the journal turned out to be universal and general cultural values, conducted in the novels of Tolstoy, his philosophical reflections.
