In the article one considers the essence of the concepts «incompleteness», «noncompletion», «integrity» (immanent completeness) of the literary works; differentiates texts which are purposefully aimed at incompleteness and which are incomplete due to objective and subjective reasons; examines their typologically-general strategies.
