Speech characterization as a means of creating an artistic image

The article reveals the speech characteristics of the character of the play byE. Isaeva “Dostor. Notes of the provincial doctor”. It is noted that the author uses various means of language expressiveness to characterize the character. Among the most frequent means the use of emotional-expressive vocabulary can be noted. Evaluation is realized at the lexical, word-formation and syntactic levels.
