Speech culture as an element of the image of a specialist in library and information sphere

The article deals with the importance of speech culture in preserving and maintaining the image of a specialist in the library and information sphere. Examples of different speech errors are given. There is insufficient attention to the problems of speech culture of library workers by the organizers of the system of retraining of library professionals. References to information resources for improvement of skills of speech culture are given.
