Rare species of plants and animals at steppe nature sanctuaries in neftegorsk region of Samara oblast

In the territory of regional nature sanctuaries “Vyazovskaya feather grass steppe”, “Bogdanovskaya syrt steppe” and “Domashkinskaya forest-steppe” 26 rare species of vascular plants and 14 animal species brought in Red Books of Samara oblast and Russian Federation are revealed. The unregulated pasture, geological investigation and soil erosion pose threat for preservation of the revealed rare species.
