Method of analyze stone assemblage reduction (on stone tools of Novoselovo 6 site)

The approbation results of the method of analyze stone assemblage reduction on the materials of the Upper Paleolithic complex of Novoselovo 6 site (average watercourse Yenisei river) are presented at the article. The ability to use this method for study the Upper Paleolithic complexes of Yenisei area was confirmed, in spite of the fact that this method has been developed on the Middle Paleolithic materials of Iran and southwest France. Some reduction chains (sequences of transformation one form to another) were reconstructed on scraper tools, which were created on the blade. The analysis of the reconstructed reduction chains has allowed to reveal the features in process of transformation blade tools on the Novoselovo 6 site and to define the prospects of using reduction method results for research of assemblages variability and it functional features, and also for study of characteristics of prehistoric human collectives adaptation strategy and their cultural originality.
