Reforming the basis for improving the structurally functional organization of the judiciary of Tajikistan

Purpose: To study some legal problems of the conducted judicial and legal reforms in Tajikistan, which became the basis for a change in the structurally functional organization of the judiciary. Methodology: Formal legal and comparative legal methods were used. Results: The article concluded that the principles of building courts, the structural and functional organization of the judicial system of the country, normative legal acts regulating the organization and activities of the judiciary, were the subject of reform and improvement in the framework of the judicial reforms. The formation of the military collegium, judicial collegiums on family and administrative offenses as part of the Supreme Court, in the court of Dushanbe and regional courts pursued the goal of more efficient and effective protection of the rights and freedoms of man and citizen. Novelty/originality/value: The novelty of the article lies in the fact that the author conducted a study of the main structural and functional changes in the judiciary in Tajikistan.
