Reforms of Peter I in the assessments of Lev Tikhomirov

In the article the author analyzed the historical and philosophical views of the outstanding Russian thinker L. A. Tikhomirov on the transformations made by Peter 1. The fundamental work of L. A. Tikhomirov “Monarchical statehood” became the basis for the study. In addition to traditional research methods, the author applied the method of content analysis.
