Region as a form of social creativity: system aspects of “human-dimension” in the processes of region-building (M. K. Petrov’s conception)

The article discusses the ideas of prominent national scientist and philosopher Mikhail Konstantinovich Petrov, who researches the processes of regionbuilding in the context of system methodology. The author considers that using the concept of "humandimension", proposed by M.K. Petrov, in analyses and forecasts of regions development allows enriching dramatically the methodology of regional studies.
