Regional demographic policy in the context of the national security of Russia

The authors consider the specifics of regulating demographic processes in different Russian regions: the regions characterized by depopulation and those with a pronounced expanded reproduction of the population. They examine the interrelation of demographic problems in different regions, such as the Far East and the North Caucasus, with the problem of the national security of Russia. They show that formation of regional systems of priorities in demographic policy is an important instrument for tackling demographic problems in the Russian Federation.
