Regional culture as a specific form of existence

The article is devoted to the regional culture characterized by a pronounced local specificity of ideological and behavioral stereotypes. The author shows that the regional culture forms, first of all, regional identity, reproduces the cultural experience of a certain territorial community, which can be radically different from the national one. The region is understood mainly as a province in its quality, how it differs from the capital. The socio-political space of the province is characterized by such properties as isolation, density, structure, integrity. The region, as a certain social and cultural space, is United by historical, cultural, economic, geographical and other features. The author considers the main system-forming factors of regional culture, emphasizing that they, influencing regional culture (its peculiarity and uniqueness), act interrelated and mutually reinforcing, while some of them can act as a dominant, but with the obligatory assistance of the others.
