Regional policy for providing the economy with staff with a secondary vocational education

The article provides an example of the implementation of a regional policy to provide the economy with personnel with secondary vocational education. The problems of personnel training in the transition period from a planned to a market economy and in connection with the transfer of institutions of secondary vocational education to the regional level are noted. The article provides an overview of federal documents aimed at improving the system of secondary vocational education in the new economic conditions. Steps such as forecasting the need for personnel, setting admission targets, career guidance work, improving the quality of training, and securing jobs in the region are discussed in more detail.
