Regional presence of Russia in the Arctic: the geopolitical and economic trends

The conflict of civilisations is the basic characteristic of a geopolitical and geoeconomic design of the modern world. The World ocean and sea resources play constantly increasing role and in an economic and political life of Russia, thus the tendency to expansion of disputed space as a whole is obvious. Struggle for the control over resources, first of all hydrocarbonic, is gradually transferred and to Arctic regions. It also proves necessity of strengthening of regional presence of Russia for this region
